This classically rich Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is red burgundy in color with aromas of black cherry and creamy vanilla, followed by blueberry, blackberry, cherry cola, and grilled meat. On the palate, this Cabernet Sauvignon is seamless and elegant with silky tannins, intense flavors of cherry and floral notes, and a hint of burnt sugar and roasted nuts.

Prunotto’s Barolo 2016 is garnet red in color. The nose is complex and generous with pleasing aromas of rose petals, red fruit and spicy notes. The palate is full, well-balanced with velvety tannins.

The Sentinel Cabernet Sauvignon is named for the shield-shaped block that casts a watchful eye on the entrance to Monte Rosso Vineyard. It’s a beautiful deep crimson color and a muscular, mouthfilling wine with full tannins and intense, concentrated fruit. Savory aromas mix with lavender and dark fruit, leading to a rich mouthfeel with waves of dark cherry, blackberry and a touch of spice. The extend finish melds the fruit together with hints of nutty toasted oak, pecan praline and caramel. The full, balanced structure gives this Cabernet tremendous aging potential.

Beautiful, deep color. Aromatically mysterious like a great hand of cards played close to the vest. Black olive, cold earth, cured meat, tumbled river rock, cool camp ash, black and blue fruit live here in the dense and elegant elixir.

With an intense ruby-red color, the wine has profound aromas of red and black fruits. On the palate, the wine’s dense structure is balanced and elegant, with a silky presence, relatively low alcohol and noble tannins. In the mouth, this wine islong and persistent.

Healthy, crunchy and well-ripened grapes produced musts that are not excessively rich in structure, considering what was expected from this vintage. They are rather characterized by a good acidity which supports the higher degree of alcohol of this vintage. The soft and silky tannins were already present in the musts and are the underlying characteristic of Guidalberto 2017. A wine that will need a
longer time of aging in glass but that will surely develop an incredible bouquet and palate. Blend: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot

Giacosa Fratelli Barolo Bussia starts ruby red, then changes, with age, to garnet red. The bouquet is ample and persistent, flowery with hints of rose, complex even up to leather and tar. Dry, full-bodied, well proportioned, and even velvety. Excellent with red meats (both roasted, skewered, or grilled) and especially with wild game.

The 2016 EnRoute Les Pommiers possesses the luxurious perfume aromatics and rich textures that we love about Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley. On the nose, aromas of ripe cherry and plum are complemented by notes of earth, sage and forest floor. Generous-yet-soft red-fruit flavors expand on the palate, with elegant tannins that are the definition of silky. A mouthwatering natural acidity glides across the finish, making this vintage irresistibly approachable upon release.

A fragrant dried rose petal and berry potpourri flows a lush, juicy entry. Darker raspberry preserve and blackberry flavors fill the midpalate, with clove and forest floor accents showing through to the finish. This wine is opulent and silky start to end, with lovely fruit and spice notes that linger on the palate.
