The Tomatin 18 Year Old is a truly world class malt. Matured in traditional oak casks and first fill Oloroso Sherry butts, honey and soft oak flavours develop into a hint of dark chocolate with a citrus bite before a sustained sweet and slightly dry finish.

This award winning whisky has endless recognition as one of the finest single malts in the business. Winner of Gold at the recent San Francisco World Spirit Awards 2017 and Double Gold at the 2016 awards. Also awarded Gold at the World Whisky Awards 2017, however these are only a pick on the awards this fine single malt has obtained.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Immediate sweetness, with hints of apple and cinnamon. A faint aroma of leathery smokiness, light and enticing.

Taste: First up the sweetness, maple syrup, apples and honey. As the flavour develops there is a little more citrus, with a dark chocolate mouth feel.

Finish: The sherry contributes a slightly dry finish that is strong, peppery and lingering.
