This rare whisky from the Rest & Be Thankful Range is a wonderful Islay whisky produced at the Bruichladdich Distillery. The peated spirit was filled into casks that previously stored American Bourbon, then left to sleep for 13 years before being bottled straight from the cask. No chill-filtration and colouring.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Fresh and vibrant, earthy and peaty, peppery spice, citrus and orchard fruits.
Palate: More fresh peaty and earthy flavours, peppery spice and citrus.
Finish: Lemon sponge cake, peppermint and smoke.
