Old Ballantruan 15 Years Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)
Volume: 700ml ABV: 50% Age: 15 Years Old Country: Scotland
Produced at the Tomintoul Distillery in Speyside in Scotland. This single malt whisky is part of a heavily peated selection bottled at 50% ABV. The name comes from the old settlement of Ballantruan which is on the west side of Tomintoul Distillery. Currently a non age statement, ten years old and a fifteen year old are produced.
After sleeping for 15 years in hand-picked oak barrels, this whisky is then bottled at 50% alcohol volume and has no artificial colours and is none chill-filtered in order to retain its layered and integrated peaty flavours. The excellent combination of sweetness and peat is now bolstered by a little bit more maturity than the ten years old.
