An independently bottled single malt Scotch whisky from the Tormore distillery. The spirit from Tormore is exceptional and when it’s presented at cask strength it becomes even more tempting. One of my favourites at the moment. Grab a bottle before I do as there was only an out turn of 200 worldwide.
This whisky was distilled in December 1988 and then bottled in October 2016. Maturted in an American oak ex-Bourbon barrel then finished in an ex-Madeira Barrel.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Freshly baked peanut butter cookies, a little spice and plenty of fruit.
Taste: Blackberries and blueberries, lots of rich malty goodness. Toffee sweetness and again lashings of fruit salad.
Finish: Christmas cake and summer pudding.
