Swedish distillery Mackmyra brings you this uniquely smoky, peaty expression, given the name Svensk Rök, which means ‘Swedish Smoke’. The smoke flavour is inspired by the Swedish tradition of preserving food over burning juniper twigs. Smoking their malt in this way captures this traditional flavour in a whisky with an uniquely Swedish characteristic.
Brukswhisky is the core expression from Mackmyra and is matured in first fill bourbon barrels, while also containing whisky aged in Sherry and Swedish Oak casks, and a smokier malt also.
These all combine for a unique, complex whisky bottled at 41.4%

Nose: Fresh fruit, citrus peel, vanilla and toffee – notes of spice and pine.
Palate: Creamy vanilla with more fruit and berries and toffee.
Finish: Continued orchard fruits, with spice and oaky tones.
