“Hibiki” to the Japanese represents harmony, and so the name symbolises this unique marriage of malts and harmonious blend from Japan. The sweet floral aroma of the hand-selected matured malts combines with a natural wood essence to create a truly distinctive whisky with full-bodied taste. The 24 faces of the Hibiki bottle represent the 24 seasons of the age old Japanese calander and celebrates the ancient tradition of “Sekki” which has been honoured for centuries. The front label is made from “Washi”, hand-crafted Japanese paper.

The Hibiki range has become extremely popular and sought after, not just in Australia but around the world. This blended whisky from Suntory is a harmonious blend of the finest selection of diverse whiskies. It is the third non age statement whisky  to be released into the core range. The initial release was only for the domestic Japanese market and produced for on premise sales. There is no official Australian release announced at this time and these bottlings are very limited.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: A fruity whisky offering berries and orchard fruits.. Toasted oak and quite floral.

Palate: Dried red fruits, vanilla, some Christmas cake and spice.

Finish: A long finish with sherry and spice.
