This GlenDronach single cask is part of the batch 17 series which just like batch 16 and 17 is a staggering 14 bottlings in total. Most bottlings have been matured in Sherry casks except two which found their way into Port Pipes.Batch 17 has also been split into two allocations seven casks for the European market and seven casks for Asia Pacific & Canada (that’s us if you were not sure). What does that mean? These are extremely limited and they will be very hard to find with allocation at a minimum. They sold out across Europe and most bottles have now hit the secondary markets and have been inflated in price. Thankfully we have a rather healthy allocation which is all thanks to our local Brand Ambassador and his hard work and dedication to the Australia market. Thank you Seamus Carroll.
This GlenDronach single cask has been distilled in 1990 and left for 28 years to mature in one Oloroso Sherry Butt. Only 437 bottles were produced for worldwide distribution. If you’re a GlenDronach fan then this one is not to be missed, check out these tasting notes.
