Glen Grant has always been a household name for scotch whisky drinkers and most of the single malt that we are used to is no age statement or a very young light style whisky. William Cadenhead brings you Glen Grant in another dimension. This Glen Grant has been matured in a series of sherry butts and delivers on traditional fruitiness but also plenty of moth coating dark fruits and chocolate. A definite must try for all Speyside and sherry cask lovers
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich dark fruits and melted chocolate. Quite meaty on the nose initially and then moving towards figs and apricots.
Palate: Lots of dark chocolate; redcurrants, raspberries and then some marzipan.
Finish: A big Glen Grant without being over the top. Lots of chocolate and a hint of spice in the finish.
