Pronounced Bú-na-ha-venn, this Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky is quite distinct from the many others on the island, given the wonderfully gentle taste profile for which it is known. Bunnahabhain is one of the main whiskies which is added to Famous Grouse and Black Bottle blends.
Originally released for the Travel Retail market this Bunnahabhain has been named Eirigh Ne Greene which is pronounced “Ae-ree ne gray-nyuh” and has the meaning ‘Morning Sky’ in Gaelic. A limited edition bottling of a peated Bunnahabhain which is released in very small numbers. A small amount of this whisky is matured in red wine casks resulting in a wonderful berry, salt and smoke combination.
