Founded by Andrea Ferrari, Hidden Spirits is a relatively new Italian independent bottler and online whisky shop, which prides itself on the meticulously careful selection of its bottlings. Hidden Spirits has its bottle labels designed by different Italian artists, and offers a variety of expressions under several series: the Highproof Collection of cask strength single casks over eight years of age; the Hidden Spirits Classic collection of single casks of varying strength over eight years of age; and the Young Rebels collection of single casks under eight years old.

The Blair Athol Distillery is located near Pitlochry in the Highlands of Scotland. Blair Athol was originally the estate village of the picturesque Blair Castle, at whose gates the distillery now stands. This independent bottling has been sourced from the Blair Athol distillery where it was distilled in 2008. After a dozen years of maturation, it was bottled up at 52.1% ABV in 2021, and bestowed a rather handsome label with a painting on it. Looks like a forest, with a selection of mountains in the backdrop.. 1 of only 337 bottles produced.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Creamy sweet barley notes and accompanied by cask char, toasted oak and ripe orchard fruits.

Palate: Ripe peaches and Satay sauce, mineral hint and creamy vanilla.

Finish: Medium to long with Dark caramel, sandalwood and charred oak.
