The distillery is rapidly developing a reputation as one of the finest single malt whisky distilleries in the world. As with classic malt whiskies, Bakery Hill uses only malted barley, yeast and water to achieve its flavour and aroma, and remains true to the authentic ‘single cask’ style. Yet unlike many other single malts, no caramel is added to enhance the appearance, as they believe its addition would dull the exceptionally fine flavour and diminish your enjoyment. Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Malted cereals, orchard fruits of apple and pear, honey sweetness and light spices.
Palate: Freshly cooked porridge, nutmeg and clove, manuka honey and fresh apples.
Finish: Apple and apricots, oak and spice.
