We are pleased to let you know that the fourth instalment of the Arran popular Explorers Series has arrived! Drumadoon Point joins the Kildonan & Pladda, Lochranza Castle and Brodick Bay as one of the picturesque and wild areas of this beautiful island, Overlooking the Mull of Kintyre and the Campbeltown region on the West Coast of the island. We are proud to present another expression of this aged Arran Single Malt – 23 years old – stunningly packaged in a beautiful presentation gift tin. This particular expression has been matured in ex Sherry Puncheons sourced directly from Jerez from a respected small producer who shares the Arran values. The maturation period is 23 years making this whisky one of the oldest from this young distillery. The resulting whisky perfectly captures the breathtaking views of this part of the island. Take your senses on an adventure around the Isle of Arran. Only 9000 bottles produced.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Apple Strudel, buttery notes of sweet pastry, stewed raisins, baked apples and toasted almonds.
Palate: More baked apple, baking spices are well balanced with the mocha notes and cocoa powder.
Finish: Long with a soft warm spice, cinnamon spice and orchard fruit sweetness.
