The bottling will also be held in high regard due to the cask numbering 888. The number 8 is related to the resurrection of the dead, eternal living. It is also symbolic to many countries around the world mainly Chinese and Christian cultures.

Our Tasting Notes
Nose: There’s plenty of maltiness, poached fruits and burnt citrus skin. A little spicy and very pleasant. You could seriously nose this all day.
Palate: The Amrut signature candied fruits comes first, the citrus opens up to a real cracker of a whisky. Mouth-coating and deliciously sweet, stewed stone fruits, figs and sultanas a touch of cereal and a warming spice.
Finish: Long, slightly spicy and more delicious fruits. Stunning whisky.
