Official Tasting Notes
Nose: A faintly maritime nose of both salt and seaweed brings back vivid memories of Tobermory Bay itself. Behind the seaside notes, this is also engine oil and recently milled oak (possibly a freshly varnished yacht) all riding in on the fresh westerly. Palate: Sweet and salty to taste with some peppery spice and homemade pork crackling. Water adds a lingering aftertaste of last Sunday’s incense, an increased oiliness and maritime character, and encourages the spiciness. Finish: The finish remains sweet and salty with lingering incense.
