BenRiach Distillery has unveiled Batch 15 in its popular series of single cask bottling’s. The distillery is known for its experimental nature and this latest batch of single cask whiskies demonstrates this, once again offering whisky connoisseurs a multi-faceted range of casks in both unpeated and Highland peated styles. Each bottle is filled exclusively from one of these individual casks. As with all of the BenRiach single cask releases they are individually hand-numbered, non chill filtered, natural colour and presented in a gift tube, each single cask is truly unique. Announcing the release of BenRiach Single Cask Batch 15, BenRiach Distillery Master Blender Rachel Barrie, said: “Batch 15 provides a rare opportunity to explore the many facets of BenRiach maturation in one batch, something us whisky makers are lucky to do every day. Our Tasting Notes
Nose: An initially sweet nose with orange oils, orange custard creams drizzled with peach syrup. Taste: Canned peaches, seasonally picked mandarins, peat smoke combines with the fruit with a creamy texture on the palate. Finish: Fruit salad meets toasted almonds and there’s still lots of creamy textures to this superb single malt.
