Our Tasting Notes
Appearance: Medium Cherry wood. Very slow oily legs Nose: The wood influence is refined and it has toffee sweetness. It’s a little buttery perhaps like puff pastry. The Sherry is beautiful and fruity, really deep in aromas as the spices explode on your back palate. There’s toasted chestnuts and blueberry lattice. Palate: The legs on this whisky are incredible making me think it’s going to be luscious and sweet. Christmas mince pies with chocolate orange melted over the top. Freshly cooked jam with lashings of Sherry balances well with the fresh oak. Finish: Long lasting with a peppery oaky finish.
