The Single Malts Of Scotland range is brought to us by London based Elixir Distillers. They specialise in independently bottling Japanese and Scottish whisky but also bottle American and Irish whisky from time to time.The company’s three core whisky brands are Elements of Islay, Port Askaig and The Single Malts of Scotland, while it also bottles navy rum under the Black Tot brand. The Single Malts of Scotland range provides independent bottlings of vintage single malt Scotch from many distilleries and at a variety of ages.
A Scottish single malt whisky that was distilled in 2008 at the Mannochmore, Speyside distillery. It was left to mature in six seperate casks which were never disclosed either. This spirit was matured in these unknown casks for no less than 13 years and bottled at 48% ABV.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Floral notes followed by hints of peat and subtle spices, creamy and buttery with soft marzipan notes.
Palate: Orchard fruits fill the mouth and combine well with hints of leather, shaved oak and baking spices.
Finish: Long with orchard fruits, cinnamon, cloves and soft spice.
