Volume: 500ml ABV: 46% Age: No Age Statement Country: Australia Batch H17-04, Tasmanian Single Malt. Launceston Distillery sits proudly in the heart of Tasmania, based at Launceston Airport’s Hangar 17 – the state’s oldest commercial aviation building. Their home is the gateway to Northern Tasmania, a region rich in natural beauty and renowned for its premium food, wine and, now, whisky. At Launceston Distillery they produce hand-crafted, small-batch whisky. Using traditional techniques and craftsmanship, Tasmanian malted barley and pure river water are combined to produce the finest quality single malt whisky. From grain to bottle everything happens under the roof of Hangar 17. Eleven small American Oak casks have been vatted and allowed to “marry” together before bottling. A light engaging whisky with fragrant aromas, it was double distilled and is non-chill filtered to retain depth of character.
