Kavalan had always been kept primitive and protected from the outside world by the Syue-shan mountain range which is abundant in high quality natural water that comes from deep within the mountain range. The mists of Kavalan and the spirits of the past have been created for you in this exquisite whisky.

Port is a Portuguese fortified wine that is robust and sweet with a fuller and richer body. It is therefore usually served as a dessert wine or digestif. Kavalan Solist Port Cask is fully matured in Portuguese Port barriques under the subtropical climate to create the multiple fruity flavours such as plum, blueberry, blackberry and strawberry just to name a few, with chocolate as the main background note.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Mandarin, dried dark fruits, subtle wood spices, gentle grapefruit and dark chocolate.

Palate: Chocolate tart, blackcurrants, strawberries, blueberries, bursting with vanilla and some subtle citrus.

Finish: Tropical fruits, citrus and subtle spice.
