Introduction: Cuvée D ‘Aged 7 years’ has up to 40% reserve wine in the blend taken from a solera system dating back to 1995. It is rich and intense, with lively acidity bringing balance, freshness and minerality. As James Halliday describes, “there is a plethora of spiced, dried and fresh fruits, balance and freshness provided by a surge of citrusy acidity on the finish.” The Pinot Noir gives body and length to the wine, while the Chardonnay adds elegance and finesse. Tasting Notes: A nice gold yellow colour with a delicate and persistent mousse. White blossom and soft spices appear first on the nose, mellowed by notes of toasted brioche and vanilla on the finish.
