Tullibardine is a classified as a Highland Distillery which mainly produces whisky for blends but does also have a great range of single malt. Most single malt offerings are available through independent bottlers such as Signatory Vintage, Gordon & MacPhail and Cadenhead.

This single malt whisky was distilled in 1993 at the Tullibardine Distillery before being placed in a single ex-Chateau Lafitte Cask and left to mature for 19 years. In 2013 it was bottled at 48.3% abv as part of the Cadenhead Single Cask Collection.

Chateau Lafitte is a very famous wine estate in France producing award winning wines. Lafite was one of four wine-producing châteaux of Bordeaux originally awarded First Growth status in the 1855 Classification, which was based on the prices and wine quality at that time. Since then, it has been a consistent producer of one of the world’s most expensive red wines.

Only 210 bottles were made available for worldwide consumption.
