Lark Distillery has been renowned for producing whisky for many years and it has collected many awards for its balanced well matured spirit. It is only fitting that the distillery would one day produce an outstanding gin to compliment its knowledge of spirit production. Forty Spotted Gin has been created by the distillery to offer a product that defines elegance and refinement. Named after Tasmania’s rarest bird, the Forty-spotted Pardalote (Pardalotus quadragintus) – an endemic creature. Inspired by the raw beauty of Tasmania, Forty Spotted are incredibly passionate about what they create.

Fresh and floral but at a lower alcohol percentage than the core range gin selection. The combination of raspberries and rose delivers a tart raspberry and citrus flavour which then gives way to a pop of grapefruit, settling into an exquisite rose and berry finish, harmoniously complemented by the delicate, rosy pink hue. It is cased in a bespoke, new Forty Spotted bottle, but with the same Tasmanian flavour profiles you’ve come to know and love.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Bursting with Summer berries, grapefruits citrus and a wonderful balance of juniper.

Palate: Raspberry and cream hard lollies, Citrus zest and underlying floral notes.

Finish: Fresh, clean and fruity. Holy Yum Batman!!!!!
