Established in 1866 by founder Jasper Newton “Jack” Daniel, Jack Daniel Distillery would be the first registered distillery in the United States. The distillery would open right next to Jack Daniel’s prime resource: the mineral-rich Cave Spring Hollow.
in 1904 Jack Daniel’s “Old No 7” wins a Gold Medal at the World’s Fair in St Louis, the first of 7 Gold Medals it would win, it has been the standard for Tennessee Whisky and a go-to for millions ever since. Japser “Jack” Daniel died in 1906 after not being able to open his safe at work, kicking it in frustration and breaking his toe. The injury worsened and deteriorated, ultimately cause his death.
Jack Daniels Bonded has been distilled by a single distiller during a single season and matured in a Government Bonded Warehouse for at least 4 years. Big and bold, this is a Tennessee Whisky with layered notes of caramel, oak and spice with a long lasting finish.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Citrus peel and vanilla give way to oak and caramel.
Palate: Apple pie, creamy caramel and vanilla with a hint of spice.
Finish: More citrus and spice with a hint of smoke.
