Ardmore Traditionally Peated Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (1000ml)
Volume: 1000ml ABV: 40% Age: No Age Statement Country: Scotland
The Ardmore distillery was first built in 1899 by William Teacher and Sons and changed hands in 1976 when it was taken over by Allied Brewers which are now more commonly known as Allied Distillers. The current owners Fortune Brands Inc produce around 5,100,000 litres of malt whisky per year and this is a major contributor to Teacher’s Highland Cream which is very fitting as they were the original owners. The distillery is based in Kennethmont which is a beautiful village north west of Aberdeenshire south of Huntly in Scotland’s Highland region. Expect a zesty single malt whisky full of citrus fruits and a little peat smoke. A lingering mouth feel that just keeps on giving.
Ardmore Traditionally Peated is initially aged in American Oak Barrels before being finished in quarter casks before being bottled at 40% ABV and placed inside a litre bottle.
